ACCOUNTATNT

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of construction projects, ensuring accurate accounting records, cost control, statutory compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts including cash book, bank book, ledgers, and journal entries
• Record all project-related expenses, receipts, and payments
• Prepare project-wise cost statements and budget vs actual reports
• Handle contractor, supplier, and subcontractor bills and payments
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and cash balances regularly
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain GST records, prepare GST returns, and ensure statutory compliance
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements
• Track advances, retention amounts, and running account (RA) bills
• Assist in payroll processing and statutory deductions
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of vouchers, invoices, and contracts

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• Experience in construction or infrastructure accounting preferred
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Excel, etc.)
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
