Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hospital Accountant to manage financial records, billing, payments, and compliance related to hospital operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, supporting audits, and ensuring smooth financial functioning of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day hospital accounts and financial records
Handle patient billing, receipts, and payment reconciliation
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts
Process salaries, incentives, and staff payments
Handle GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
Monitor hospital expenses and cost control
Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Accounting / Finance
Proven experience as an accountant in a hospital or healthcare setup preferred
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory regulations
Proficiency in Tally / ERP / Hospital Management Software
Strong analytical and organizational skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Experience:

1–3 years of experience (hospital experience preferred)

Working Hours:

Day shift (as per hospital schedule)
