Accountant - URGENT VACANCY

Job Summary:

AJS Groups is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, handling quotations, sales and purchase bills, payment follow-ups, and maintaining daily cash balances. Candidates must be organized, proactive, and committed to accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on quotations with clients and internal departments.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain sales and purchase bills.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors for payment follow-up and outstanding dues.
• Maintain and update daily opening and closing cash/bank balances.
• Monitor and manage utility payments and all company bills to ensure timely settlements.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and documentation as needed.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of accounting or finance experience (preferably in a similar role).
• Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, and/or other accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills for follow-ups with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

• Ability to work under deadlines and with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
