Accountant Travel Agency

Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

Daily Accounting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily transactions.
Support data entry and general ledger updates, ensuring data accuracy.
Monitor and report on receivables and payables to ensure timely follow-ups.

Billing and Collecting Dues:

Generate invoices and ensure accurate billing for all transactions.
Track client payments and follow up on outstanding dues.
Assist in managing collections to maintain a steady cash flow.

Process Support:

Assist in implementing systems and processes to improve efficiency.
Follow established procedures for daily accounting operations.

Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on account status for senior review.
Present financial data in an organized manner for management insights.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Experience:
3-5 years in accounting, preferably within the travel or service industry.
Software Proficiency:
Basic knowledge of XL Satnam or similar software.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Skills:
Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn.
