Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Erode

Employment Type: Full-time
Gender: Only Male candidate preferred

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and ledger entries
Use Tally for data entry, account reconciliation, voucher recording, and tracking general ledger activities.

Handle GST filing monthly/quarterly, ensuring timely compliance with GST norms

Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, and assist in preparation for audits
Reconcile bank and ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis activities
Provide mentorship or guidance to junior accountants or interns as needed
Maintain strong internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field (master’s or equivalent is a plus)
3–6 years of proven hands-on experience in accounting roles, preferably with Tally and GST filing experience.
Strong working knowledge of Tally and GST compliance procedures relevant to India
