Female candidate only Job Summary: The School Accountant will manage and oversee the school’s financial activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping, compliance with financial regulations, and efficient handling of funds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting the school’s mission. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, receipts, invoices, and other documents. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Monitor and manage school budgets, ensuring expenditures align with budgetary constraints. Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to all staff. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including tuition fees, grants Conduct regular audits to ensure financial compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with the administration to develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and planning. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation. Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide financial analysis and advice to support decision-making processes.
