Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lake Town, Kolkata

Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Experience Required: 5 – 6 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mid & Senior Level Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accuracy in financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and balance sheets.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with Direct & Indirect Taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
• Assist in internal audits and statutory audits.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Supervise junior accountants (if required).

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and Accounting Standards.
• Good understanding of Direct Tax, GST, TDS, and ROC compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and team management ability.
