We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial records. The candidate should be proficient in Tally, GST, TDS, and MS Excel, and should be capable of independently handling accounting functions while coordinating with the Chartered Accountant for audits and filings.

Role & responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally software.
Prepare and issue invoices accurately and on time.
Handle GST and TDS calculations, return filing, and compliance.
Ensure compliance with GST laws.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy.
Maintain ledgers, vouchers, and other accounting records.
Prepare financial reports and MIS using MS Excel.
Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for audits, filings, and reviews.
Ensure statutory compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
Assist with other finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements

B.Com degree is mandatory.
2- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Good working knowledge of Tally ERP.
Experience with GST and TDS returns and compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in audits and compliance documentation.
Knowledge of basic payroll processing.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
