About the Role

We’re looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day finance operations including bookkeeping, GST compliance, vendor reconciliation, marketplace settlements, and MIS reporting.

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and able to work in a fast-moving D2C business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping, invoices, and accounting entries
• Maintain records in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks (or preferred software)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile GST, TDS, bank statements & payment gateways
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheets, and expense reports
• Coordinate with CA and internal teams for tax filings
• Manage vendor payments and ledger reconciliation
• Reconcile marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit) & Shopify payouts
• Assist in monthly closing and financial audits
• Maintain stock valuation records (optional if applicable)

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting & finance fundamentals
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic compliance
• Working knowledge of Tally / Zoho / Busy / or similar tools
• Proficient with Excel / Google Sheets
• Analytical ability & attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with accuracy
• Strong organizational & documentation skills

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with D2C, FMCG, or eCommerce businesses
• Experience with marketplace reconciliation (Amazon / Flipkart)
• Knowledge of inventory accounting
• Experience in a startup environment
