Job Description

Role Overview: As an Accountant at Podar Education Network in Hadapsar, Pune, you will play a crucial role in managing various accounting responsibilities to support the educational institutions within the organization. Your strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, will be essential for this full-time position. Key Responsibilities: - Collecting fees from parents and maintaining accurate records. - Managing the petty cash account. - Tracking all monetary transactions at the location. - Entering data into tally software. - Processing admissions. - Preparing and posting journal entries. - Analyzing account reconciliations. - Verifying daily reports and preparing deposits of sales receipts. - Reconciling bank accounts. - Compiling monthly reports and expenses. - Providing details to the Accountant at Head Office for General Journal entries. - Recording new purchases and disposals accurately. - Maintaining files and labels as needed. - Assisting with common responsibilities in the school office. - Coordinating with HR for processing EPF. - Ensuring accurate completion and submission of administrative duties, checks, documentation, and reports within deadlines. Qualifications Required: - Good communication skills. - Negotiation abilities with vendors. - Proficiency in fee collection processes. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to maintain confidentiality. - Timely completion of assigned tasks. - Providing proper information to parents regarding fees.,
