Job Title: Accountant Location: Ojin Bakes, Calicut, Kerala Employment Type: Full-Time Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Company Overview: Ojin Bakes is a leading bakery brand in Kerala, known for its delicious baked goods and traditional sweets. With a strong presence in Calicut, we are expanding our operations and looking for a Junior Accountant to support our growing team. Job Summary: We are hiring a Accountant to assist in day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to learn and grow in a professional finance environment. You will work closely with the senior accountant and other departments to ensure smooth financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining daily financial records and ledgers. Help with data entry of purchase, sales, and expense vouchers. Support reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash handling. Assist with GST data compilation and basic filing support. Maintain organized records of invoices and bills. Coordinate with the production team for tracking material movement and costs. Learn and use accounting software like Tally ERP or Excel under supervision. Perform other clerical and accounting support tasks as assigned. Qualifications: B.Com, M.Com, or any degree with basic knowledge in accounting. 0 to 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (internship experience can be considered). Basic knowledge of GST and accounting principles preferred. Familiarity with Tally or any accounting software is an added advantage. Proficient in MS Excel and basic computer operations. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work early morning shifts (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM). What We Offer: Hands-on learning experience in a growing company.
