Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable In-House Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations within our company. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices, handling GST/e-way bills, and supporting financial compliance. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or similar). Post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and track daily expenses and income. Accounts Management: Manage receivables and payables, ensure timely payments and collections, and reconcile accounts with clients and vendors. Invoicing & Billing: Prepare and issue invoices as per company policy. Track payments and follow up on overdue invoices. GST & E-Way Bill Compliance: Generate e-way bills and ensure compliance with GST regulations. File GST returns in coordination with external consultants if needed. Monthly Reports: Prepare basic financial reports, summaries of account status, and assist in management reporting. Internal Coordination: Work closely with the sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure smooth financial workflows. Vendor and Client Communication: Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding billing, payments, and reconciliations.
