Accountant

You will be responsible for managing all financial aspects at ICL Public School & Jasper Schools, including transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your role as an Accountant will require strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform routine accounting functions such as recording financial transactions, verifying entries, and maintaining ledgers. - Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, budgets, and provide accurate financial information to management. - Monitor cash flows, prepare cash flow statements, and forecast financial status. - Prepare annual financial statements, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure compliance with laws. - Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls for efficiency. - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support on various projects. - Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices for compliance and accurate financial advice. **Qualifications and Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; B.Com preferred. - 3 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in an educational institution or NGO. - Knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, tax regulations, and Indian accounting standards. - Organizational and time management skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using accounting software and MS products. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
