Core responsibilities Financial record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices. Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Transaction processing: Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations, and prepare and file tax returns. Budgeting and forecasting: Manage budgets, create financial forecasts, and analyze financial data to support decision-making. Audits: Assist with internal and external audits, and reconcile financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies. Analysis and recommendations: Analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to management.
