Job Description

Finalization of accounts for monthly closing and audit purposes
,Purchase:Checking of quotations received from the purchase team and judiciously verifying the genuineness of the quotations
Checking of vendor bills with respect to documentation and statutory compliances
Ensure timely payment to vendors and timely payment of payroll
Payments and petty cash":Control over petty cash by timely recording of the receipts, payments and verifying the closing balance of cash with book balance on daily basis
Timely payment to vendors after checking the documentation and aspects of TDS and other statutory compliances
,Banking:Co-ordination with bankers for payments, receipts, bank charges and other banking related work (including physical visits to banks)
Facilitate in preparing cheques, making online payments and proper recording of the same
Preparing bank reconciliation statements
Statutory compliances":Maintaining a calendar for statutory compliances and ensuring that all compliances are met on a timely basis
Calculation of GST, TDS and ensure timely payments and filing of returns
Co-ordination with consultants for direct, indirect taxation and MCA/ CS related compliances and provide proper documents, information on a timely basis to meet the compliances on time
,Audits:Co-ordination with auditors for smooth conduct of all audits by providing timely and correct documents and information
Physical verification of fixed assets
,Reporting:MIS Reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis (as per requirements specified)
Filing and maintenance of recordsMaintain all documents and records by way of proper filing
Experience: 2-3 Years of experience in core accounting of transactions and direct and indirect tax compliance (preferably in IT companies)
