Role, Responsibilities & Skills Role – Accountant Responsibilities - • Manage all accounting transactions • Authorization and control of all payments • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable • Insure timely bank payments • Manage balance sheet and profit loss statements • Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure • Managing colleagues, workloads and deadlines • Financial forecasting and risk analysis • Analysing accounts and business plans • Compiling and presenting reports, budgets • Preparing and maintaining important financial reports • Preparing GST returns data and ensuring that GST returns are paid properly and on time • Evaluating financial operations to recommend bestpractices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently • Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization
Skills – • Clear verbal communication skills • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations & procedures including ( GAAP- Generally accepted accounting principles ) • Hands-on experience with accounting software • Advance MS-excel skills including V-lookups & Pivot tables • Experience with general ledger functions • Strong attention to detail & good analytical skills • B.com, B.Sc. in accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
