Accountant

As a member of the Global CCG Shared Services (GCSS) team at Cisco, you will play a vital role in transforming business processes through global standardization and strategic outsourced partnerships. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning and driving book close activities, collaborating with the operations team to provide necessary inputs to Outsourcing Partners. - Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and other GL-related deliverables. - Managing audits and serving as the point of contact for entity-related operational activities with the Controllership team. - Identifying and addressing process gaps by initiating process improvements and automation initiatives. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) or Master's degree in Commerce (MCom). - CA/ICWA with 2 to 3 years of proven experience is preferred. - 5-8 years of working experience in accounting operations within a process-oriented and ERP-driven MNC environment. - Hands-on experience with Oracle, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. - Sound accounting knowledge and working knowledge of US GAAP. Preferred qualifications for this position encompass: - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities. - Exposure to Oracle/SAP accounting modules, RPAs, and other finance automation systems. - Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and enthusiasm for driving process improvements and embracing change.
