About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Chartered Accountancy firm. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting work, GST and Income Tax compliance, bank-related documentation, and supporting audit assignments. Candidates with basic computer knowledge and experience in Excel and Tally are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Prepare and file Income Tax returns and related documents.
• Assist in bank audits and prepare required audit reports.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and other bank-related reports.
• Handle TDS calculation and return filing.
• Support in statutory audits, internal audits, and documentation work.
• Maintain proper records, files, and client data.
• Coordinate with clients for required information and follow-ups.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Accounting, GST, Income Tax, and auditing work.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic computer operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com / Accounting or Finance background preferred.
• Freshers with knowledge of Tally & GST may also apply.
• Experience in a CA office will be an added advantage.

Salary

• Salary will be based on experience and skills (negotiable).

Work Schedule

• Full-time, office-based
• Timings as per firm standards
