Location: Kolkata
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years
Qualification: CA-Inter (cleared)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant (CA-Inter) to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST compliance: returns, reconciliations, and audits
• Manage TDS compliance, including calculation, deduction, and return filing
• Assist in finalization of accounts and statutory audits
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other applicable laws
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and cash flow
• Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial analysis

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Practical experience in GST, TDS, and Income Tax
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems)
• Good command over MS Excel and financial reporting tools
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

• CA-Inter qualified with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a CA firm, corporate accounting, or mid-to-large organization
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
