Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Shillong. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and monitoring financial transactions, preparing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records, performing audits, analyzing financial data, and supporting financial decision-making processes. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
• Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is an advantage
