Accountant - Australian Process

The job involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and taxation work as per clients" needs. This includes bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, sales, purchases, fixed assets, and finalizing books of accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of P&L and balance sheet with relevant accounting standards (IFRS). Additionally, you will prepare monthly management and analytic reports, reconciliation statements, and assist in tax-related information analysis. As a candidate, you should be a CA Inter or Finalist with a minimum of 3 years of solid bookkeeping experience. Australian Accounting & Tax experience is preferred, and knowledge of Xero would be advantageous. The role requires a proactive work ethic, strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving ability, good English communication skills, commitment to continuous improvement, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Your responsibilities will include preparing and auditing work papers substantiating financial statement balances, generating monthly reports and financial statements for clients, and ensuring jobs are completed effectively while meeting technical standards and deadlines. You will also be responsible for ensuring that clients are informed about their compliance obligations.
