Job Summary:

Account Manager (Staffing)

foreign national processing (Student Visa, Cross-border work permits)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Own and grow existing client accounts (Federal/Provincial/Govt verticals)
    • Work directly with hiring managers, procurement teams, and program owners
    • Manage client escalations, feedback loops, and delivery performance metrics
  • Recruitment & Delivery:

    • Lead full-cycle hiring: contract and full-time roles (IT & Non-IT)
    • Expertise in working with

      T4, B2B (Incorporated), and Independent Contractors

    • Deliver talent under complex visa situations:

      Open/Closed Work Permits, PR Holders, Citizens, Student Visas

  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Manage

      security clearance processes

      (Enhanced Reliability, Secret)
    • Ensure compliance with

      CRA taxation rules (HST collection, B2B remittances)

    • Maintain documentation for immigration and cross-border hiring
  • VMS & Process Management:

    • Hands-on experience with

      Fieldglass, Flextrack, and other VMS platforms

    • Track candidate submissions, interview progress, offer roll-outs, and onboarding
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely candidate delivery
  • Business Development Support:

    • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts
    • Assist BD teams in proposal/RFP responses and rate negotiations

Qualifications:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in

    Canadian staffing industry

  • Strong background working with

    Government and Federal clients

  • Sound knowledge of

    Canada taxation

    (HST, T4, B2B arrangements)
  • Experience working with

    foreign nationals

    ,

    cross-border hiring

    ,

    student/work permits

  • Familiar with

    Canadian Immigration categories

    (PR, Open/Closed Work Permits, Citizens)
  • Working knowledge of

    security clearance documentation and processes

  • Proficient in

    VMS tools (Fieldglass, Flextrack)

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with

    Recruiter License

    or compliance with licensing requirements in relevant provinces is a plus
