Account Manager Media Planner

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Understand client requirements, marketing goals, and campaign objectives.
• Present media plans, strategies, and campaign reports to clients.
• Ensure client satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
• Develop integrated media plans across TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, and Digital (if required).
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience profiling.
• Identify appropriate media channels based on campaign objectives and budgets.
• Prepare media plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams (creative, media buying, digital) to ensure campaign delivery.
• Monitor campaign performance and optimise for better results.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and billing details.
• Collaborate with media buying teams to ensure optimal costs and inventory.
• Liaise with media partners, vendors, and publishers when required.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in media planning (mainline preferred).
• Strong understanding of media metrics, TRPs, Readership, IRS, BARC, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and media planning tools.
• Experience in an advertising or media agency environment.
• Knowledge of digital media planning.
