Position Overview

Accounting Head

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  
• Finalisation of accounts on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliation of accounts.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of

  GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax returns

  .
• Manage statutory audits, tax audits, and coordinate with auditors/consultants.
  
• Handle assessments, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities.
  
• Monitor cash flow, payables, receivables, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  
• Guide and supervise the accounts team for accuracy and efficiency.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of

  Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, and TDS

  .
• Strong expertise in

  finalisation of accounts and tax compliance

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  Tally/ERP or similar accounting software

  .
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and good communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  M.Com / CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

• Experience:

  Minimum 3-

  5 years

  in accounting and taxation, with proven exposure to GST, Income Tax, and Finalisation of Accounts.
