 Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss accounts.
 Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and income tax.
 Manage and record all transactions related to imports and exports, including customs duties, freight charges, and insurance.
 Handle foreign currency transactions, conversions, and reconciliation of forex accounts.  Prepare and maintain export invoices, packing lists, and other statutory documents.
 Ensure timely filing of customs documentation such as Bill of Entry, Bill of Lading, and Shipping Bills.
 Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.  Monitor expenses, analyse variances, and suggest cost-control measures.
 Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to import-export transactions, including FEMA and RBI guidelines.
 Liaise with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
 Maintain and update all compliance-related documentation for export incentives and benefits.
 Coordinate with banks for LCs (Letter of Credit), bank guarantees, and forex transactions.
 Handle communication with freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents), and other stakeholders for import-export activities.
 Manage accounts of overseas clients and vendors, ensuring timely payments and collections.
 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management dashboards.
 Provide detailed analysis of import-export profitability, margins, and associated costs.
 Submit reports on foreign exchange fluctuations and their impact on financials.
