Job Description

As an Accounts Intern at the company, you will play a crucial role in the finance team by contributing to day-to-day accounting operations and gaining valuable hands-on experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations such as data entry and bookkeeping - Helping in the preparation of financial reports, invoices, and bank reconciliations - Managing petty cash records and ensuring timely settlements - Maintaining and updating financial records and databases - Assisting in audits and tax filings by gathering and organizing necessary documentation - Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures - Supporting the finance team in various ad-hoc tasks as required To succeed in this role, you are required to meet the following qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Possessing a basic understanding of accounting principles - Having proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books (a plus) - Demonstrating strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information responsibly - Possessing good communication and interpersonal skills It is also essential to note that having a laptop is mandatory for this position. This is a Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship role with a contract length of 3-6 months.,
