AMYRA is a premium/luxury lifestyle brand for India and the world. Currently our product portfolio consists of fabric/textile based bags & purses for women, as an alternate to leather/faux leather bags. We intend to add more relevant categories. Since inception, we have sold 100,000+ luxurious products so far & maintained avg review of 4.9/5 (of >9K reviews). Our products are used across luxury weddings, influencers & celebs across India and abroad.

We are looking for enthusiastic interns who can help us streamline our accounting process. You will be assisting the existing accounts team in day to day work. We are looking for a minimum of 3 months of internship starting immediately. Based on your accounting prowess and knowledge your stipend will be decided.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting various accounting activities. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Financial Record Keeping

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and Excel spreadsheets
2. Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Financial Reporting

1. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. Generate financial reports for management review and decision-making purposes.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

1. Process accounts payable invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
2. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and reconcile customer accounts.

Bank Reconciliation:

1. Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and financial records.

Requirements:

1. Strong proficiency in accounting principles and practices
2. Knowledge in Zoho accounting software (preferrable but not mandatory)
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
