Key responsibilities

  • Financial recording and reporting:

    • Record all financial transactions accurately.
    • Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Reconcile accounts and statements to ensure accuracy.
    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Analysis and forecasting:

    • Analyze financial statements and performance.
    • Develop and monitor budgets and provide financial forecasts.
    • Perform cost and general ledger analysis.
    • Identify financial risks and recommend solutions.
  • Compliance and auditing:

    • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
    • Conduct internal and external audits to verify financial accuracy and compliance.
    • Ensure all financial records and systems are up to date and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Strategic advice:

    • Provide guidance to management on financial strategy.
    • Advise on ways to reduce costs and improve profitability.
    • Assist with financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other business decisions.
