Job Description

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, including debtors, creditors, and petty cash.
Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Handle GST and income tax-related matters, including filing returns, payments, and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Preferred candidate will have knowledge or experience in import-export documentation and related financial processes.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Commerce (B. Com) or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment.

Strong knowledge of GST, income tax, and other relevant accounting standards.

Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally or Zoho.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
