Account Executive – PR & Social Media

SPORTSCOMM (sportscomm.in) is a specialist sports communication agency under Eastward Consulting LLP. For eight years, we’ve been shaping narratives that connect sports, athletes, brands, and fans, delivering integrated PR and digital strategies across India’s growing sports ecosystem.

The Role:

Delhi (HO) office

What We need from You:

• Passion for sports with curiosity beyond cricket.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Process-driven with the ability to think on your feet.
• A team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Awareness of media and digital trends, with an eye for opportunities.
• Working knowledge of social media tools and content formats.

What You will do:

PR (70%)

• Contribute to developing communication plans and ensure deliverables are executed as per client scope.
• Draft and disseminate press releases and story pitches.
• Engage with journalists and media outlets to secure impactful coverage.
• Monitor media for industry trends, competitor news, and opportunities to leverage.
• Track, document, and report coverage, ensuring timely and professional reporting to clients.
• Support client meetings and presentations with well-prepared decks and documents.

Social Media (30%)

• Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with client objectives.
• Create engaging content formats (infographics, reels, carousels) in collaboration with design.
• Manage basic community engagement and monitor digital conversations.
• Map and engage with relevant creators, influencers, and KOLs.
• Track and report social media performance with insights for optimisation.
• Stay updated with platform innovations and trends to apply to client campaigns

What We're Looking for:

• Postgraduate in Journalism/Mass Communication (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in PR and/or digital marketing (agency experience a plus).
• Strong media relations, writing, and presentation skills.
• Well versed with Canva.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to report and evaluate outcomes.
