Account Executive

We are seeking a skilled Account Executive with strong expertise in taxation as the primary responsibility. The role involves managing direct and indirect taxes, statutory compliances, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate bookkeeping and regulatory adherence. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential.

• Take ownership of direct and indirect taxation processes, including GST, TDS, and income tax.
• Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GST data, and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, and filing of returns; generate and distribute certificates.
• Handle tax assessments, audits, and liaise with tax authorities for queries or notices.
• Calculate advance tax, review tax provisions, and prepare tax-related schedules for financial statements.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations (PF, PT, ESIC, and other applicable laws).
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare MIS reports and tax summaries using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, charts, etc.).
• Support internal and external audits with proper documentation and timely responses.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in taxation-focused accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of direct taxes, indirect taxes (GST), and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
