Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Executive for our manufacturing unit to manage daily financial and accounting activities. The candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles and possess knowledge of cost tracking, inventory accounting, and statutory compliance specific to the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Records:

• Maintain daily accounting transactions (sales, purchase, payments, receipts, journal entries)

• Perform bank reconciliation and inter-branch reconciliations

• Ensure timely entry of raw material purchases, production consumption, and finished goods dispatch

Costing & Inventory:

• Assist in product costing and maintain cost sheets

• Monitor and reconcile stock of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods with production reports

• Coordinate with the stores and production team for inventory accuracy

Taxation & Compliance:

• Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.)

• Manage TDS calculations and filing

• Assist in factory-related statutory compliances (Excise/Customs if applicable)

• Prepare documents and support internal & statutory audits

Reporting & MIS:

• Generate daily/weekly/monthly financial and inventory reports

• Assist in monthly and annual financial closures

• Maintain records for production costing and variance analysis

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), CA Inter preferred

• 25 years of experience in manufacturing accounts

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Prime, MS Excel, and other accounting tools

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and factory accounting procedures

• Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), cost centers, and job work accounting

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with inventory software or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Marg, Busy, etc.)

• Familiar with manufacturing audits, or cost audits, Microsoft office.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, factory environment.
