Account Executive

Maharshi Industries Pvt Ltd (MIPL) is a leading technology company engaged in Robotics, Virtual Reality Simulation, AI-based Systems, and Special Purpose Machines for Defence, Police, Railways, and Industrial sectors under the Make in India initiative. We are looking for a proactive Accountant to handle day-to-day accounts, coordinate with our Chartered Accountant (CA) for GST and compliance, and manage purchase-related accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and ensure accuracy in ledgers.
• Coordinate with the CA for GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs), vendor invoices, and expense entries.
• Oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable and vendor reconciliation.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly closing of accounts and audit preparations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, project expenses, and inventory-related accounts.
• Generate MIS reports and share with management for financial tracking.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs for accounting and procurement.
• Support management in budgeting and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• Essential: B.Com / M.Com with 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Preferred: Inter-CA (IPCC cleared) / Semi-qualified CA with strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or equivalent accounting software.
• Good knowledge of GST returns, TDS deductions, vendor reconciliation, and PO handling.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with CA, vendors, and management.
