Job Description

The primary goal of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate supply of packing materials in alignment with production planning. You will be responsible for maintaining healthy stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and providing the production team with necessary resources. Your role also involves ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating with the production and planning teams to prepare and deliver material orders as per requirements. You will create and update the list of pending packing material orders, follow up with vendors/suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, and maintain optimal stock levels by tracking inventory effectively. Your main focus will be to ensure the timely availability of packing materials to support uninterrupted production planning and operations. Additionally, you will provide on-the-job training to co-workers and supervisors on labeling procedures, stock maintenance, and timely material issuance. Daily physical stock counts and reconciliation with system inventory are also part of your responsibilities to maintain stock accuracy and hygiene. Furthermore, you will be preparing and submitting monthly stock reports to the Head Office for review and record-keeping. Key skills and competencies required for this role include strong coordination and follow-up skills with vendors and internal teams, expertise in inventory and stock management, a basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain logistics, proficiency in MS Excel or inventory management systems, effective communication, and team training abilities. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.,
