Job Description

Audit and GST Compliance Specialist (1-2 Years Experience)

We are seeking a highly precise and driven Audit and GST Compliance Specialist with 1-2 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on executing internal audits and ensuring robust Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance.

Core Responsibilities

Internal Audit Execution:
Conduct internal control testing and verify compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Prepare detailed audit working papers and draft findings reports for management review.
Track and document the implementation status of audit recommendations.
GST Compliance & Reporting:
Execute monthly and annual GST compliance filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C) accurately and on time.
Perform GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation with accounting records to ensure maximum Input Tax Credit (ITC) utilization.
Assist in responding to statutory GST notices and managing related documentation and assessments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GST law amendments and implement changes promptly.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 1-2 years dedicated experience in Audit (Internal/Statutory) and/or GST Compliance.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance. Pursuing or completed professional qualification (CA/CMA/CS Inter/Final) preferred.
Technical Skills:
Expert proficiency in Indian GST Laws and Procedures.
High proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (Tally/SAP/Oracle) and the official GST Portal.
Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and effective communication skills for reporting findings.
