Job Description

As an Account Director, National Sales at Marriott International, you will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio of national accounts and building strong relationships with key buyers. Your role will involve implementing strategic account management principles to achieve market share goals across all Marriott lodging brands in the market. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications required for this position: **Core Work Activities:** - Develop and implement the overall account strategy for assigned accounts to achieve sales goals. - Retain, expand, and grow account revenue through total account penetration and margin management. - Penetrate assigned accounts for group and transient business, exploring opportunities for extended stay and catering sales. - Qualify potential accounts accurately and articulate the financial benefits of proposals to customers. - Collect and analyze key information about customers" business operations. - Identify key purchase points and decision-makers influencing buying decisions. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in SFA for reporting purposes. - Support data gathering, reporting, and tracking functions to drive revenue generation. - Relate customer needs to product capabilities and quantify the business impact for both the customer and Marriott. - Build and strengthen accounts with existing and new customers, industry organizations, and brand networks. - Anticipate and seize opportunities to build customer satisfaction and deliver value-added products and services. - Ensure outstanding service delivery at every customer touchpoint and resolve guest issues effectively. - Facilitate educational opportunities to enhance integration between the National Sales Team and internal stakeholders. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales and marketing experience. - Relevant university or college qualification or degree preferred. - Experience in total account management and hospitality sales. - Proficiency in written and spoken English and local language. - Strong knowledge of legal issues within the industry.
