Account Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in bookkeeping, and supporting the preparation of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP or other accounting software.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of invoices, bills, vouchers, and challans.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain petty cash transactions.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for account-related queries.
• Generate MIS reports as required by management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP preferred).
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy.

Qualification & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
• Freshers with strong knowledge in accounts may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per year
