Account Assistant

Job Overview:

Orbiz Creative Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Account Assistant with 3 years of experience to support our finance team in Chemmad. The candidate will assist in daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support statutory compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and payment transactions.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Manage vendor and client payments using Odoo ERP system.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
• Assist in GST filings, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Generate financial reports and assist management in decision-making.
• Coordinate with auditors during audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial documentation.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with ERP software (Odoo knowledge preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GST compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
