Accessibility Testers

Location:

Client Exposure:

Must-Have Skills:

Deep knowledge of
WCAG 2.1
guidelines and
WAI-ARIA
specifications
Proficiency with
manual and automated accessibility testing
tools (AXE, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Lighthouse, WAVE)
Ability to write clear
accessibility audit reports
and suggest practical remediations
Experience in testing across
desktop, mobile, and assistive technologies
Familiarity with
Agile testing processes
and integration into CI/CD workflows
Ability to collaborate closely with
developers, designers, and product managers
to ensure accessibility standards are met

Good to Have:

Understanding of global compliance laws like
ADA, Section 508, EN 301 549
Experience using
screen readers
,
keyboard navigation
, and other assistive technologies as a user
Certifications like
IAAP CPACC or WAS
are a plus
