Job Title: Teaching Faculty – Event Management (PGDM Program) Location: Poddar Business School, Jaipur, Rajasthan Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Visiting Faculty About Poddar Business School: Poddar Business School is a leading institution committed to academic excellence and industry-relevant education. Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, qualified, and experienced Event Management Faculty to teach and mentor students enrolled in the PGDM Program . The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, designing course material, and incorporating industry practices into the classroom to ensure students are well-prepared for careers in event planning, coordination, and execution. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lectures and interactive sessions in Event Management , including planning, logistics, budgeting, marketing, and post-event evaluation. Develop and update course curriculum in alignment with current industry trends and academic standards. Integrate practical projects, case studies, guest lectures, and workshops into the curriculum. Supervise student projects and provide academic mentoring. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, assessments, and continuous improvement. Facilitate field visits, live events, or internships to enhance experiential learning. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback. Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and institutional events. Qualifications and Skills: Master’s Degree or PGDM in Event Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (PhD preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of teaching and/or professional experience in event management or related industry. Strong knowledge of event planning tools, platforms, and technologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire, mentor, and effectively engage with students. Industry connections and practical exposure to corporate, academic, or social event domains are highly desirable.
