Academic Specialist

Position Overview: The Academic Specialist provides expert support and guidance to students, faculty, and academic programs to enhance educational effectiveness. They analyze academic policies, develop instructional strategies, and assist in curriculum development to promote student success and institutional goals. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with faculty and administration to develop, implement, and assess academic programs and initiatives. Provide academic advising and support services to students, helping them navigate course selections, academic planning, and resource utilization. Analyze student performance data to identify trends and recommend interventions. Assist in the development and delivery of training workshops for faculty and staff on curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment methods. Support accreditation and compliance activities related to academic standards. Conduct research on best practices in teaching and learning, integrating innovative approaches into the academic programs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends, policies, and technologies. Prepare reports and documentation related to academic initiatives and outcomes.
