Job Description: Job Summary: Jagran Josh is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Content Creator to develop engaging and informative content primarily focused on international education news, policies, key educational topics, international affairs, and their relevance in the global context. This role will be crucial in informing and engaging a diverse audience interested in understanding the complexities of international education and related historical and policy landscapes. The ideal candidate should be a skilled writer and video creator with a strong background in the education sector and a keen interest in global affairs. Responsibilities: Content Development: Develop and execute content centered on international education news, policies, and relevant educational topics. Conduct in-depth research on current events, policy changes, and educational trends in international contexts. Identify compelling content opportunities that bridge international education with subjects like American history, civics, and global studies. Written Content Creation: Write engaging and informative articles, analyses, blog posts, and videos. Develop content that connects to contemporary international issues and educational practices. Adapt writing style to suit various platforms and audiences, ensuring clarity and cultural sensitivity for an international readership. Incorporate SEO best practices relevant to international education and history-related keywords. Proofread and edit all written content for accuracy, grammar, and style. Video Content Creation: Conceptualize, script, storyboard, shoot, and edit high-quality video content that explains complex topics in international education, analyzes related news and policies in an engaging visual format. Create video content that connects historical narratives with current international educational trends and policies. Manage all aspects of video production, ensuring high-quality visuals, audio, and editing. International Education & Policy Focus: Stay up-to-date on global education news, policy changes, and trends from various countries and international organizations (e.g., NATO, UNESCO, World Bank). Analyze and synthesize information on international education systems, reforms, and challenges. Develop content that compares and contrasts educational policies and practices across different nations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, History, International Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating both strong writing and video production skills. Significant experience creating content related to the education industry, with a strong emphasis on international education and/or historical topics (preferably American history). Demonstrated ability to research and analyze complex information related to education policy and historical events. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Proficiency in video production, including filming, sound, and editing software. Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of global perspectives. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
