Academic Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Manager (Science Background Only) to oversee academic operations at Pathfinder Educational Centre across our 29 West Bengal locations. The Academic Manager will be responsible for managing class schedules, batches, exams, and academic quality at the assigned centre. This role involves close coordination with teachers, students, parents, and the Head Office to ensure smooth academic delivery and strong student retention. Candidates must have a science background (B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc) and possess strong communication and people-management skills. Applicants must clearly specify the centre they are applying for.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality academic delivery and adherence to institutional standards
• Coordinate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and partner schools
• Maintain accurate academic records and ensure smooth communication with the Head Office Academic Team
• Monitor student performance and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes and retention

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc (Science background is mandatory)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage people, schedules, and academic processes
• Prior experience in academic coordination/management is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kalighat, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
