Academic Head (Preschool)

Role Description

This is a full-time Academic Head role located in West Delhi. The Academic Head will be responsible for overseeing educational management, curriculum development, communication, education, and team management on-site.

Curriculum & Instruction:

• Curriculum Development:

• Designing, implementing, and updating age-appropriate curriculum for preschool programs, ensuring alignment with early childhood education best practices and developmental milestones.

• Instructional Leadership:

• Providing guidance and support to teachers on effective teaching methodologies, classroom management, and creating engaging learning experiences.

• Classroom Quality:

• Overseeing classroom environments, ensuring they are safe, stimulating, and conducive to learning.

• Learning Outcomes:

• Monitoring and evaluating student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents, and making adjustments to teaching strategies to maximize learning. 

Staff Management & Development:

• Teacher Training:

• Conducting professional development workshops for teachers, providing ongoing support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Performance Management:

• Supervising, evaluating, and providing feedback to teachers on their performance, ensuring they meet the school's standards.

• Recruitment & Hiring:

• Participating in the recruitment and selection of qualified teaching staff. 

Communication & Collaboration:

• Parent Communication:

• Maintaining open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, development, and any concerns.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborating with other school staff, administrators to support the preschool's educational goals. 

Qualifications

• Educational Management and Curriculum Development skills
• Strong Communication and Education skills
• Team Management abilities
• Experience in early childhood education
• Leadership and decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
