Role Overview

As an Academic Counselor, you will be the first point of contact for students and parents exploring study-abroad opportunities. Your role will involve understanding student aspirations, guiding them through university options, eligibility, admission, and visa processes, and ensuring a smooth journey from application to enrollment.

This position is open for both freshers who are enthusiastic to build a career in student counseling and experienced professionals who bring proven expertise in the education consultancy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents about study-abroad opportunities, eligibility, admission procedures, and career pathways.
• Provide detailed information about MBBS and other academic programs in different countries.
• Assist students with application forms, documentation, scholarships, and financial planning.
• Conduct follow-ups through calls, emails, and meetings to convert leads into successful admissions.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications in CRM systems.
• Stay updated with country-specific admission guidelines, visa regulations, and university requirements.
• Support in organizing student seminars, webinars, and career fairs.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and university partners.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good presentation and convincing ability.
• Ability to handle queries with patience and empathy.
• Basic knowledge of study-abroad processes (training will be provided to freshers).
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

EligibilityFor Freshers:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably in Education, Counseling, Management, or related).
• Passionate about student guidance and career counseling.
• Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi; regional languages are a plus).
• Willingness to learn and grow in the study-abroad counseling domain.

For Experienced Candidates:

• 1–3 years of prior experience as a student/academic counselor in the education consultancy sector.
• Proven track record of converting leads into admissions.
• In-depth understanding of international education systems, especially MBBS Abroad.
• Ability to manage targets and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
