Job Description :

Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students on educational courses, career options, and training programs based on their interests, goals, and eligibility. They play a key role in student admissions, course enrollment, and ensuring learner success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling to students and parents on courses, career paths, and training opportunities
• Handle inquiries via phone, email, walk-ins, and convert them into admissions
• Explain course details, eligibility, fees, duration, and placement prospects clearly
• Maintain student database, follow-up regularly, and support admission targets
• Guide students throughout the enrollment process and post-admission support
• Collaborate with marketing/mobilization teams to ensure quality leads
• Prepare reports on student counseling, conversions, and feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate / Postgraduate (preferably in Psychology, Education, or Management)
• 2–3+ years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or customer-facing roles
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills (English + local language)
• Confident in handling calls, emails, and walk-in consultations
• Basic computer skills – MS Office, CRM/ERP systems, email tools
• Motivated, student-friendly, and goal-oriented personality
