Job Description

Academic Counselor – Job Role (EdTech Company)

1. Student Guidance & Counselling

Guide students in selecting suitable courses based on their academic background and career goals.
Provide accurate information about course structure, features, fees, and outcomes.
Address student queries through calls, chats, and meetings.

2. Admission & Enrollment Support

Assist students throughout the admission process from enquiry to enrollment.
Follow up with potential leads and convert them into admissions.
Maintain proper documentation and student records.

3. Academic Support & Coordination

Coordinate between students, faculty, academic teams for smooth delivery of classes.
Track student progress and share updates with stakeholders.

4. Student Relationship Management

Solve student concerns, complaints, or technical issues by coordinating with support teams.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily reports on student interactions, conversions, and follow-ups.
Update CRM with accurate lead and student details.
