Academic Counselor

Job Summary:

As a Career Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing information about courses, clarifying admission procedures, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for students. Your role will involve building strong relationships with potential students, understanding their educational needs, and helping them make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Counsel students via phone, email, in-person, or online platforms regarding courses, career paths, and academic opportunities.

* Understand student goals and suggest appropriate programs based on their interests and eligibility.

* Follow up on leads and inquiries, convert them into enrollments, and achieve admission targets.

* Maintain updated knowledge about course offerings, certifications, and career trends.

* Build strong relationships with students and provide post-enrollment support.

* Maintain accurate documentation and reports of student interactions and enrollment status.

* Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and academic teams for seamless operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in any field

2. Proven experience as an Admission Counselor, Sales Executive (preferably in the education sector).

3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

4. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM software is a plus.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

6. Strong organizational and time management skills.

7. Fluency in English and Malayalam

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in the education industry, especially EdTech or training institutes.

2. Understanding of sales techniques and customer relationship management.

3. Ability to build rapport with students and provide personalized guidance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
