Academic Counsellor

Job Description

SRV IT Hub Private Limited is looking for a proactive and organized Academic Counsellor to manage and coordinate our internship programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective interns, coordinating admissions, and acting as a bridge between interns, trainers, and internal teams. This role plays a key part in onboarding interns and ensuring a smooth and productive internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students and fresh graduates regarding internship opportunities at SRV IT Hub Private Limited.
• Guide candidates through the internship enrollment and onboarding process.
• Coordinate with technical teams and trainers to schedule internship batches.
• Maintain records of intern applications, enrollments, attendance, and progress.
• Act as the primary point of contact for interns throughout the internship period.
• Address intern queries related to programs, schedules, certifications, and policies.
• Coordinate internship completion formalities such as certificates and feedback.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience in academic counseling, training coordination, or student management preferred.
• Good understanding of IT courses, internships, and basic software concepts.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, spreadsheets, CRM tools).
• Ability to handle multiple interns and tasks efficiently.
• A student-friendly, professional, and proactive attitude.
