Job Title: Academic Counsellor Location: Coimbatore Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience) + Performance Bonus Gender Preference: Female Candidates Only Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Academic Counsellor to join our institute. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of experience in sales and career counselling, with a passion for guiding students and parents towards making informed decisions about their education and career paths. Key Responsibilities: • Counsel students and parents on courses, programs, and career opportunities offered by the institute. • Convert walk-ins, inquiries, and leads into admissions through effective counselling and follow-ups. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and schools/colleges. • Conduct seminars, workshops, and career guidance sessions to promote the institute’s programs. • Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets and contribute to business growth. • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, leads, and conversions in the CRM or reporting system. • Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams to plan events and promotional activities. • Stay updated on industry trends, career options, and competitive programs. • Handle inquiries via calls, emails, and walk-ins professionally and promptly. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s preferred). • Experience: Minimum 2 to 6 years of proven experience in sales, counselling, or academic advisory roles. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Strong ability to persuade and guide students towards suitable courses and careers. • Result-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets. • Proficient in MS Office and basic computer applications. • Ability to handle pressure and work in a target-oriented environment.
